Costumed Interactive Volunteer, Salford Museum and Art Gallery

Based in Mr Tomlinson’s General Store on the Victorian Street at Salford Museum and Art Gallery, our enthusiastic volunteers help provide a warm welcome by interacting with visitors.

Part of the role is to talk about the history of the shop, Victorian life and how shopping has changed over the years. The other is weighing and handing out bags of traditional sweets to visitors and encouraging voluntary contributions. You will be teamed up with / mentored by an existing volunteer and this is a great opportunity to build upon your people skills and interact with the public in a fun way.

 Please call 0161 686 7445 (and leave a message) or email david.potts@scll.co.uk

Please note that this opportunity currently takes place on a Sunday afternoon (12.00 – 4.00) only

Closing date: None / First come, first served!
